We invite you to visit EthnoMed, a home page on the world-wide-web that
contains cultural and medical information on refugees and recent
immigrants to the United States.

EthnoMed is designed to be a clinical reference tool that a physician,
nurse, social worker, or other provider could consult in the few minutes
before seeing a patient. EthnoMed will also contain patient education
materials in native language, and in the future will have forums for
discussion of current topics in ethnic and refugee communities.
EthnoMed is in its infancy, and we enthusiastically welcome submissions
to EthnoMed, particularly for refugee and ethnic groups that have a
presence in the Pacific Northwest. EthnoMed is not a peer-reviewed home
page. It is a creation of people from the University of Washington
Departments of Medicine, Pediatrics, and the Health Sciences Library.

Please visit our page at:
http://weber.u.washington.edu/~ethnomed/emedhp.htm.
We look forward to hearing from you and receiving your submission! Mail
comments to hsl@u.washington.edu.
