You cannot dismiss the Net as not being a culture because it fails to
exploit all the senses. True, vision is the primary sense. Hearing is
increasingly becoming feasible.

Regardless, your narrow definition of culture would exclude those with
sensory deficits from having culture. Do the blind and deaf have no
culture simply because they fail to possess vision and hearing?

Besides, culture does not mean communication. It certainly includes
communication, but also includes shared practices and beliefs that are
transmitted to others. It includes artifacts. The Net fulfills each of
these criteria.
