Hullo all,
I just found out about this newsgroup and I'm very excited about
its existence. I did not know it was around!
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the
significance of the chameleon was in Aztec or Mayan culture, whether
mythologically, ritually or whatever. I've noticed that it occurs
somewhat frequently in Aztec art especially. A zoomorphic motif, if you
will... :)
Well, if ya can help me, please e-mail me directly.

Thanks,
Ben
