Clearly, God would be a beer drinker. Why? I'm in God's image; I drink
beer, not wine; therefore God drinks beer. QED.

On a more serious note, what religion believes that their God would not
drink wine? Surely Christianity, with Jesus turning water into wine and
the bread=flesh / wine=blood belief, cannot be opposed to drinking wine.
With moderation perhaps, maybe only on special occasions, but drinking wine
in general would seem to be an acceptable practice.

Note that I have trimmed the newsgroups and followup lines.
