Race Deniers? That's clever! Let someone come up with a definition of
race, I mean something that we all can follow. No please don't bother
I'm not interested in corresponding with racists.
My point for others is that in Darwins "Origin of Species" there is a
discussion of race. The comparasin is made to various animal populations
and their clasification. A different species is defined as having
different features as well as being unable to breed outside of the
species.
At the time of that writing there was a popular analogy between
race and spieces. Maybe that explains some of the resistance that theory
recieved. Since human beings could and obviously did breed regardless of
skin colour there was no basis for the idea of race.
So people of different colour are more like dogs of different breeds.
The only thing we have to watch out for is that humans don't become
"purebreds" and develope all of the genetic diseases asociated with
inbred dogs.
