Race is not very much used in anthropology today. It is much more useful
to use breeding populations are defined on the basis of genetics when
studying the biological similarities and differences of different groups
of Homo sapiens sapiens. Phenotypes (read that comparison of appearances
like skin color, etc. are still sometimes used to describe different
peoples, however, they are not used much to define groups anymore).

Race has become more of a political construct. Perhaps it would be best
to teach about genetics and natural selection in different environments
and stay away from race.
