About a year or two ago there was an article in Current Anthro called
"Welcome to Cyberia" I believe by Arturo Escobar though I could be wrong.
I'd also take a look at the work of Donna Harraway, like "Simians, Cyborgs
and Women" (I think that;s what it's called), and her forthcoming book has
a great title, a sign of her cleverness:
"Modest_witness@second_millenium.FemaleMan_Meets_OncoMouse." Harraway's
students have produced some interesting stuff too. I remember hearing a
paper by Joseph Dummett that was fascinating.

See Lucy Suchman's "Plans and Situated Actions" and Edward Hutchins
"Cognition in the Wild" and anything recent by Jean Lave.
