I "feel" the world is far more peaceful at the current time than
10 years ago or when I grew up in the 1950s. The threat of superpower
war has gone down considerably.
However, when I visted the UN earlier this month they said they were
currently montoring 63 conflicts, mostly ethnic strife and civil war.
