I have a maternal great grandmother who was a Jew. That was considered
shameful at the time by my family, so everyone said she was a
"Cherokee". Since the Jews trace their ancestry matrilinearly, I guess
I'm of the Hebrew tribe, and damn proud of it.

I find this one-upsmanship of victimhood and group identity ridiculous.
