What *isn't* "broken"? Newt obviously feels a lot of the political process
in this country is incorrect, and the right does feel that there's a "cul-
ture war" in progress. So, the right thinks some "it" is "broken".

The Contract with America shows that the GOP goes ahead and makes "fixes"
even if they *know* about the problems it will create, especially with re-
gards to the national debt. Knowing that the potential for a major screwup
is quite high, why do they try to fix it the way that they're trying?
