"morning sickness" among Eskimo

I am interested in a "scientific myth" which has been repeated in
the obstetrical literature for decades without any empirical
research or rebuttal, that nausea and vomiting of pregnancy is
unheard of among Eskimo and Aleutian women.

I will be investigating this in a systematic manner, but any helpful
insights, references, advice or anecdotes are much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
