GRASS/XGRASS CD for Linux is still available

GRASS/XGRASS 4.1.5 for LINUX

(Geographical Ressources Analysis Support System)

GRASS is a powerful GIS. It is running on UNIX systems, e.g. Linux.
I prepared a CD containing the GRASS source code, GRASS binaries for
Linux, the example Databases and contributed software. You'll be
able to run GRASS directly from CD.

Some copies of this CD are still available!

GRASS is used in:

Archaeology
Geology
Hydrology
Geography
Meteorology
Medicine
Urban planning
Politics
...

GRASS is capable to:

work on, digitize, display point, vector and raster data
import and export data to Autocad, dBase,...
work on satellite and airborne imagery
be linked to Informix, Oracle, Postgres, RIM
...
