Whether they're not as extreme I'll leave to you, but from
what I've been reading lately, I doubt they got them from
Neanderthal, who, to my knowledge, were not present in the
eastern edge of Asia, from whence aboriginal Americans derive.

Many groups of Natives don't have large noses, it's by no
means fundamental, especially along the west coast. And
certainly Asians don't have large noses, in general, any
more than Africans do.
