Anyone from this ng doing work in "ethnopaleography" a l€ Tedlock? Or
"transculturation" of text? I am interested in the intersection of
culture, aesthetics(world-view), and language and the
re-interpretation of same into contemporary "impressions" (as in
Robert Lowell's translations) of a literary (esp. poetic) form.
If you are currently involved in such an endeavor I'd love to hear
from you. Or, if you have references, ideas, or input. Thanx!
