If you replace neither the water or the sodium, you will die of
thirst well before dying of sodium deficiency. In reality,
humans, like other animals, drink fresh water when thristy and
eat foods which contain salt, so under normal circumstances,
except in the most marginal of environments (deserts and oceans)
it doesn't come to this.
