Dating first european modern homo sapiens

So, I caught part of an item on the radio this morning that someone
(I missed the name) using electron spin resonance dating had dated
rhino bones and teeth found in association with modern h. sapiens
remains (somewhere in the balkans) to 130kya . The researcher
commented that this would have been a much more remarkable
find if not for the dating of some other remains in the last
five years which pushed back the existence of modern h.s.
in europe from 40kya to 90kya.
