I think it's on a lot because they've got A&E, various science channels,
a history channel, etc., etc., etc., and they've got a lot of time to
fill. They use the existing backlog of shows, documentaries, and such,
and face it, by TV standards, anthro is cheap.

(Same thing with grants: a real big-money anthro grant might run
$50-100,000, and that same amount wouldn't go far in most other
sciences.)
