I cannot, off hand, think of any pleistocene burials associated with
'representational art'. The wall art of European caves is attributed
to 'cro-magnon' for what that means by default. What other alternative
is there? Cro-magnon is simply a handy label for Homo sapiens sapiens]
from Pleistocene contexts in Europe.
If you visit Les Eyzies the 'capitol of Prehistory' your can stay at the
Hotel Cro-Magnon and perhaps park your car with the nose in what remains
of the rockshelter from which the original Cro-Magnon skeleton was found.
