Dewi Morgan said to me that he had heard someone claim that chimpanzees
had a higher frequency of individuals with excessive foot webbing. (He
didn't suggest that the average chimpanzee has more webbing than the
average human) With an aquatic scenario we would expect the opposite of
this, so I'm very keen to get hold of the original paper, and I wondered
if anyone has a reference for it.
