The "Black Skull" may not be Australopithecus boisei, but something
different, i.e., A. ethiopicus. Take a look at the book edited in 1987 by
Fred Grine on the "robust" Australopithecines. I would use 530cc as the
cranial capacity for robust australopithecines rather than 520 , as the
only good relatively undistorted brain endocast comes fro SK 1585 and was
