Hello,

I need some information on possible large predators in the late miocene, early

pliocene, or more specifically: any that lived during the period, and in the
same geographical areas as early Australopithecus Afarensis. (5-4mln years
ago). I've tried looking at species of Acinonyx as well as early Hyenid/Civet
species, but none i could find, suggest the proper time, body size or
geographical location, to have been any real danger to Australopithecus
Afarensis.

Could someone help me out on this one, or tell me where i might look ?

Thanks.
