Though I don't believe Babel to be a Creation Myth, you bring up a
good point. (not to mention the other Babel stories in many other
myths around the world) The verses say that all people worked as one,
as a whole,
who decided to try to piss off or emulate the Gods, by building this
tower. god said 'Let US go down and confuse their language,' thus it
was done. Whatever god is in the Bible he is the most jealous,
paranoid, murderous, lying god there could be. It should be of
concern to figure out who or what this God is.
