A modest proposal:
Since the entire clientele of the sci. newsgroups should all be
interested in the same things, why don't we simply have one group called
sci. It would save everyone the trouble of having to associate their
interests with a specific newsgroup or two. While we're at it, we
should include all of the various alt groups having to do with
creationism, diffusionism, conspiracies, and most particularly anything
having to do with carboniferous human existence and Saddam Hussein.
