I am a professor of psychology at Syracuse University, and I'm interested
in locating detailed "family trees" of European populations (based on gene
frequencies, multilateral comparisons of language, and so on). For
example, Colin Renfrew in the Jan. 1994 issue of Scientific American (p.
120) presented a horizontal dendogram of "genetic distances" based on work
of Joanna Mountain. Does anyone out there have direct citations for
detailed, articulated family trees of population distances? Thanks!
