Ardipithecus ramidus

A few months ago, in a note in Nature, the name "Ardipithecus ramidus"
was "made available" to Australopithecus ramidus. I take that to mean
that if/when ramidus is determined not to belong to Australopithecus, it
must then be placed in the genus Ardipithecus. Correct?

An article in Time yesterday speaks as if this renaming has already
taken place, which is not what I understood.

What genus should ramidus be referred to at the moment?
