Copyright and the Net (please read)

As someone already pointed out, Clarion News Feed messages are copyrighted,
and they diligently protect their copyright. Reposting Clarion messages
tends to lose a school's license to their service. So, DO NOT REPOST
Clarion messages to Anthro-l. But in general, we have a rule here that
all of you should be aware of, that prohibits forwarding anyone's
message from one medium to another (i.e from personal mail to a list,
or from one list to another). So, please, get permission first! This
is Net policy too, and follows International Copyright. The *only*
exception is when the original poster explicitly states the message may
be reposted without permission.

Thanks,
Hugh Jarvis
Co-Listowner Anthro-l
