FOREWORD

This document consists of a massive revision of the previous
incarnation of this list. I have omitted purely commercial web sites
and museum sites which do not cater specifically to anthropological
interests (there are a *lot* of art museums on-line, for example).

I don't have the space to thank everyone who's contributed to this
list over the years, but this time around i'd like to acknowledge Michael
Fischer, for generating the initial HTML version of this document for
me, and Anita Cohen-Williams, for her diligent work keeping track of
discussion groups (most of her list is incorporated into the "Discussion
Groups" section herein).

Of course, any errors or omissions are purely my own; if you come across
any, i'd love to hear from you! Please feel free to contact me with
additions, corrections, or any other feedback at: alleycat@spectra.net
