Hi there,

is there any anthropologist out there who has done work on the wood
carving industry?

By 'wood carving industry' I mean the production and sale of carved
wooden objects, whether by hand or machine, and ranging from
'traditional art' through to 'modern art' and 'curios'. It thereby
includes imported masks, statuettes, drums etc. from other African
countries.

If there is somebody out there I would be happy to hear from you.
