Maybe it is some kind of rapid assessment field methods course. Or maybe
"discovery" is a new American method for analysing culture that doesn't
take as long as pre-post-modern ethnographic fieldwork. Frightening to
think that some people have taken a working lifetime to come to grips
with one field area, let alone three, and now you can do it all in 15
days.
