Site : El Pilar, Cayo, Belize
Period: 200 B.C. - A.D. 1000

Position: Project Administrator
Approx. Dates of Program: Jan. 23 - July 10, 1995
Application deadline: November 18, 1994
Experience required: ability to run front office operations including
phone, computer skills, running project errands, ability to
speak Spanish a plus
Program pays for: roundtrip travel to project, room and board

Positions: Field and lab supervisors
Approx. Dates of Program: Jan. 23 - July 10, 1995
Application deadline: November 18, 1994
Experience required: MA or PhD students in archaeology, field
experience andd spanish a plus
Program pays for: room and board in Belize, other expenses contingent
on funding

The Brass/El Pilar project is surveying, excavating and
consolidating structures at the major ancient Maya center of El Pilar
in Western Belize. The project has been working in the Upper Belize
River Valley area since 1983.
