Subject: Indians of the Amazon River Basin

Joe Kane, the author of SAVAGES, will be lecturing in Portland, Seattle and
San Francisco during and after World Rainforest Week. His book is a
narrative of his adventures in Ecurador. He chronicles a native Indian
tribe's battle with American oil companies to perserve their way of life, and
in turn the rainforest. Come out and show our support -- and learn about
Ecuador and the rainforest.
