Along the lines of silly student statements (SSS) I just asked a question
about why H&G should or should not be considered the "original affluent
society." I got many curious replies, but one of the best was, in
discussing the dietary composition of the !Kung: "Thier diet is made up
of 55% vegetable foods and 70% by women." (!!!)
