PC, Humanity you and me

John Stevens drew a distinction between (it appears, that is if I don't
mis-interpret his meaning) science and political correctness (non-science).

It is an invalid distinction . . . science and humanities both may be subject
to PC or not subject to PC . . . and for one, I have no objection to any
scientific or humanistic tact . . . but I sure object to PC's insistance
(spelling) that one has to say or find the correct thing. What ever
happened to the great American intellectual ideal of being able to argue
anything you want to without worrying about stepping on politically correct
toes?
