If the anthro-l cyberspace community does indeed meet, it would be
interesting to examine how the general ethos of the list alters, if
it in fact would, once people are able to attach faces/genders/
ethnicities to what are now simply names. In fact, some people enjoy
internet lists precisely because they are unable to be "categorized"
via physical attributes.

However, I expect that one of "us" is already gathering dissertation
data on the anthro-list! (Or, at least material for an article...but
it ain't me.)
