Truth, science, and all that

Here are some quick thoughts on truth:
Try this; turn science into a religious system. Replace the word
truth with god or some deity. Then one can see that experimentation becomes
prayer, a way to get closer to an almost never accessible truth/god.
I know this may not be a new view, if anyone knows more about this,
please contribute. For all I know, truth may lie in six glasses of water a
day. Thank you.
