the traditional sociobiological approaches associated with Wilson, Alexander, Dawkins, et al? I have read the popular press accounts such as the Newsweek feature story, etc. I also plowed through the dense thicket of Cosmides and Tooby's chapters in *The Adapted Mind*. However, I still cannot distinguish the significant differences between this so-called pioneering approach with that of traditional sociobiology. Perhaps we could get some enlightenment from Jerome Barkow on this issue!! Thanks in advance, Ray Scupin Sociology/Anthropology Dept. Lindenwood College 209 S.
