Slander

Hugh Jarvis has raised a very important point. However, I'm sure that I
and many of my colleagues who use the list are poorly informed as to what
may or may not constitute slander. Is there an attorney on the list who
might be willing to help us out? Can we have some guidelines from the
listowner(s)? Warnings like this are sure to put a damper on discussions!
