Slander warning from the listowner! (Please read)

This is just to remind you what you should already know. There may be
legal precedent for electronic bulletin boards to be considered as
published media, in which case, the libel laws would apply. Thus, you
will please refrain from making any statements which may be considered
as slandering anyone! This is for your own sake as well as that of
the listowners, the Department I reside in (which is *not* connected
to this list in any way), and the University system which supports this
list. I have been advised to remind you of this fact by my the
computing people who oversee many of these lists. You may feel you have
a right to say what you want, but please do not take others down with you!
