Hugh -

Could you please tell me and the list what ARE the proper places for
discussion of the AA and its policies?

As far as I can tell, the editors of the AA have issued various
statements, but this is hardly "communication." The letters column in the
AAA newsletter takes 2-3 months.

If anthro-l is not a general forum for discussion of anthropological
issues, what is it?

Could you give us a definition of "political" in this context?
