SVA Workshops at AAA in Atlanta

A number of people have been asking about the Workshops organized by the
Society of Visual Anthropology. Here is some information. I hope it is

The workshop forms can be found in the preliminary program
in the Sept. AAA newsletter, p. 39. The deadline for submitting them
is Nov. l, l994. It is possible sometimes to register on the site of
the AAA meeting, but that is risky, because if not enough people apply
a workshop may be cancelled or if it is too popular it will fill up.
I believe they are usually limited to from l5-25 people depending on
the size of the room and requests of the organizer. Acceptance is on a
