Projectile Point Bibliography

Arch-L list with about a dozen references, and I became compulsive. These
references include some from the "grey market"... (i.e. tend to have prices
listed but also can be good for type coverage). The collectors books with
prices are also valuable aids for the archaeologist prosecuting an ARPA case in
establishing commercial (wince) value. In order to provide some contextual
framework, references are included which include: breakage, dating, descriptive
systems, fluting, form, function, hafting, measurements, notching, and
reshaping. As a good cautionary reminder "Scholars ...... should not be
enslaved by static typology" (Wilke & Flenniken, 1991).
