Doing bibliography searches is one areawhere the Internet saves you time while
getting you goodies. One of the goodies somebody on the Ethnic History Net
sent is one most anthropologists might miss: _Ethnicity and Public Policy_,
a series of 10 + volumes of symposia papers by people in various disiplines,
edited by Winston Van Horne and Thomas V. Tonnesen. These were published by
the University of Wisconsin System, American Ethnic Studies Coordinating
Committee/Urban Corridor Consortium between 1982 and 1991 or thereabouts.
There are some real gems in there, including some of Takaki's best work, some
fascinating stuff on U. S. censuses, on the American labor force, etc., etc..
The Library of Congress catalogue number for these is E 184.
