Perhaps this is also a good time to mention the Web site I'm just getting
on-line, for the Center for Anthropology and Journalism--URL
forthcoming--which will be an effort to provide
anthropology/ists resources to the press, and information about how to
promote ourSELVES through the media.Many journalists have told me how
much they would appreciate having one place they could go for
information/resources about anthro stories, and many anthropologists
have asked me "how" to best communicate what they do to a wider
audience--so I'm hoping what I can
offer here will be useful. As my personal background is media, and I'm
finishing my MA at Hunter in Anth., this seems a natural....I will be
anxiously awaiting comments and suggestions! This list will be the first
to get the URL!
