Parenthood

I am a Master's student at the University of Montreal currently working on my
thesis. The topic is parenthood through adoption; basically if we define
parenthood through biology (ie the act of giving birth) how do adoptive parents
see themselves within this frame. It is a short research based on five
interviews, half of which remain to be done. I would welcome any sources or
comments on the subject.
