VOLUNTEER OR COURSE CREDIT! I am looking
for an archeology or anthropology field project in a
Spanish-speaking country this summer -- course credit
programs, internships, and volunteer opportunities. I am
a student at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor,
studying anthropology and intensive Spanish.

I have spent four summers in rural Italy (in northern
Novara and Toscana) and have traveled in Mexico
three times, once spending several weeks in Guatamala
and Chiapas. I visited several major archeological sites
in Mexico, including Palenque and Teotihuacan, and
traveled by bus in the mountain regions of Guatemala.
My interests include ancient cultures, comparative
cultures, and human behavior, and my classes have
included linguistics.

I am willing to work in the field or lab, and am very
comfortable with computers. I am also prepared to live
in a simple setting. Please contact me if you know of
any programs or have leads I should follow. Thank you.
