1. I am sorry if I earlier today gave the erroneous impression, if I did,
that my host of this past weekend did not have his own computer account
at a private service unrelated to Brown University, as he does; hence if
I insinuated, which I don't recall, that he avails himself, contrary to
Brown University regulations, of that provided for the use of my hostess,
who was grading papers when I mucked about with it, then I am terribly sorry.
2. According to the following bulletin just handed to me:
>Daniel,
>If you haven't posted to Anthro-L yet, please don't. I think it will
>only bring more attention to the matter which may just go away. Maybe
>they'll think it's all a joke or something.
>
>Thanks,
>Jim
For someone whose fondest desire is to not screw up such that no harm
befall thereby any living being, I've made a mess of it again. So, please,
anyone out there feeling like persecuting these nice young people, STOP!
KILL ME INSTEAD! IT'S ALL MY FAULT EVEN IF NOTHING HAPPENED, NO WRONG WAS
DONE BY ANY OR AUGHT, AND ALL OUR NOSES ARE CLEAN.
Thank you.

3. (*) in a previous post was to be a mention of the Nika Insurrection
of 531 AD. Nika is roughly analogous in meaning to Forza Italia! which
is the largest Italian party, very muchly to the Right, led by Mr Berlusconi,
whose private property it is. The closest one comes in English is, "Let's Go"
as in "Let's Go, Mets!"
