John, I don't think you know what to do with the help that is being offered
you, because you don't recognize it as help. You don't recognize that
sexuality in this country and all others that are patriarchal,
androcentric, is colonized because women are marginalized, in spite of
seeming progress, economically and politically. Sexuality is not
colonized when it is experienced by women and men in more or less
egalitarian relationships; sexuality is colonized when
dominance/dependency characterize human relationships. Sexuality cannot
be isolated as a thing sui generis,despite all the attempts of
advertisers,the barnacles of the corporations, to do so. Ruby Rohrlich
