It seems to me that Robert Johnson's posts are the anthropological
equivalent to the "National Enquirer." In much the same way that this
genre of "news" relies on shock value to make money, RJ relies on the
same to satisfy his obvious need for attention. If you find it hard to
resist headlines such as "Monkey Boy Gives birth to Dolphin," or "OJ and
Judge Ito Are Secret Lovers," then you probably have a hard time deleting
RJ's postings before you read them. I am, however, opposed to his
removal, if as a society we can't censor Rush Limbaugh, then we certainly
can't censor the Robert Johnson's. If you don't like his postings-- don't
read them.
