Dear Mr. Jarvis:

I would like to ask you a favor. It's got to do with the enormous amount
of mail I receive from the Anthro-L list.

I was wondering if I could receive only a limited amount of your mailings. I
receive up to sixty (60) e-mail letters in a day. That is more than I can
physically and financially handle. It has taken up to 3/4 of an hour to
merely download the e-mail. And then in order to put on my floppy disks, I ha
ve to edit it, because I get an error reading, if I don't edit it. Taking
3/4 of an hour to download everyday, when I only get five (5) free hours a
month is too much time. I then have to pay $2.95 per hour for any additional
time used.

Also, I am retired, and my health is not that good. Even with my sons
helping me, it's a drain on my health and energy, and a drain on my sons'
energy and time.

For the above reasons, I would like to be put on a limited e-mail list.
While I enjoy the debates about certain issues very much, I was wondering if
these e-mail letters could merely not sent to me.

I'd like to receive the rest.

Please let me hear from you.

Thank you very much.

Sincerely yours,

Naomi Holcomb
