North Carolina State University. As part of North Carolina State
University's commitment to fostering racial diversity,
the Department of Sociology and Anthropology invites applications
for a tenure track position in Sociology. The appointment is most
likely to be made at the Assistant Professor level. Areas of specialty
are open. Qualified applicants should have the
Ph.D. by time of appointment. Growing department, attractive
salaries, excellent research support and outstanding local amenities.
There is no deadline for applications, however,
review of applications will begin March 1 and, contingent upon
funding , we anticipate that successful candidates will join the
